What do I need to do to start shipping with Direx?

You can start shipping after registering on direx.bg and once your account has been approved.

Where are your offices located?

You can drop off parcels at:

  • Distribution Center: TC Europa, Sofia, Iskarsko Shose Blvd. №7, Building 15, Warehouse 6
  • Drop-off Point: Serdika Business Center, Sofia, “Acad. Ivan Evstratiev Geshov” Blvd., Building 5

How long does it take for my account to be activated after registration?

A dispatcher will contact you within 24 hours (business days).

Are you open on Saturdays?

No. Our working hours are Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:30.

What do I need to do after preparing my shipments?

  • Generate shipping labels
  • Print and attach labels to the packaged shipments
  • Print the manifest

Can I hand over my shipments in another way if your offices are not convenient for me?

Yes. You can request a courier pickup before 12:30, and a courier will visit you the same day between 13:00–17:00.

Requests are submitted through your Direx profile.

I am not located in Sofia — how can I ship a parcel?

You can send your shipments through Econt, collected together in one consolidated package.

You don’t pay Econt — we invoice you a fixed symbolic fee for the service.

How is the shipping price calculated?

Price is based on weight, dimensions, destination country and selected service.

What is volumetric weight?

Volumetric weight is calculated using the formula:

length × width × height / 5000

The higher value between physical and volumetric weight is used.

Are customs documents required?

For shipments outside the EU:

  • CN22 or CN23
  • Invoice
  • HS Code
  • Country of origin

What is an HS Code and why is it important?

The HS Code identifies the type of goods and determines applicable customs duties.

Incorrect declarations = delays or penalties.

What does DDP mean and which services support it?

DDP = duties and taxes are paid by the sender.

Can I insure my shipment?

Yes:

  • up to 45 EUR → 0.75 EUR
  • up to 150 EUR → 1.50 EUR

What are the weight and size limits?

  • Up to 2 kg → DX Pack+, DX Signature Plus, DX Tracked, DX Untracked
  • Up to 20 kg → DX Parcel
  • Up to 15 kg → DX Express
  • Up to 5 kg → DX Global

How does courier pickup from an address work?

A fixed fee applies per visit, regardless of the number of parcels.

Cities without a Direx office → serviced by Econt.

What happens if a shipment is returned?

Returned items are sent back to the sender.

High return rates may result in additional charges.
