DX USA

DX USA is an economical and convenient service for shipments weighing up to 5kg. Shipments weighing up to 2kg. are calculated on the basis of actual weight, and in the range of 2kg. up to 5 kg. the greater of value, volumetric or physical weight shall be taken into account.

The volume weight of a consignment is obtained from the volume of the consignment (in m3) multiplied by a factor of 200. For an example consignment weighing 1 kg and measuring 20 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm or 0. 2x0. 3x0. 2=0. 012 m3 the volumetric weight would be 0. 012x200=2. 4 kg.

Delivery within the USA is done through local USPS post offices and shipments can be tracked both on their website www. usps. com and ours - www. direx. bg.

Shipments sent with DX USA service can be insured in case of damage or loss.

Direx applies a fee of 3.52 BGN including VAT, for collecting shipments from an address, regardless of the number of taken/received shipments . In cities where there is no Direx office, customers are served by our trusted partner - Econt. With Direx you have the opportunity to insure your shipments in case of damage or loss. The commission for insurance with coverage up to 45€ is worth 0. 75€, and for coverage up to 150€, the commission is worth 1. 50€.

To calculate the price of the shipments, the larger of the volume or actual weight of each shipment is used. The volumetric weight of a consignment is obtained from the volume of the consignment (in m3) multiplied by a factor of 200. For an exemplary consignment weighing 1 kg and measuring 20 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm or volume 0.2x0.3x0.2 = 0.012 m3 the volumetric weight would be was 0.012x200 = 2.4 kg.

Every shipment with the service must be packed by the sender in a form that permits its safe transport and be accompanied by a label for delivery. Delivery labels are generated and printed in A6 format directly from the sender's client profile available on the Direx site.

Consignments are also delivered with a printed Client's Manifest, which is generated from the profile of each sender and represents a pass-through protocol with a number and barcode between the clients and Direx.

Customs requirements vary according to the type of goods and their invoice value. Check in advance that the goods are not on a list of prohibited goods for shipment or subject to special handling. Make sure the HS Code information, country of origin and described content is correct.

Shipments to the USA must be accompanied by a pro forma invoice in English which is automatically generated by our system and must be entered with the correct HS Code, country of origin and an accurate description of the contents. If the information is not accurate or missing, the processing and receipt time may be changed.

Due to the specific nature of USPS services in the United States and as a result of the COVID-19 anti-epidemic measures, shipments are delivered to the recipient's address, and if the recipient is not present the shipment may be left in a post office box or at a local USPS partner post office.

Returned consignments (refused by the recipient or those with incomplete or inaccurate address) are returned to the sender without any additional fee if the percentage of such shipments does not exceed 3% of all shipments sent by the consignor. A higher rate may incur an additional fee.
